Happy Summer Vacation!

校長的話

親愛的思源家長，

本週五5/26是今年最後一天上課，每個班級都有 不同的慶祝活動，希望各位家長也可以一同來參 加，謝謝大家一年的支持與鼓勵，希望每位學生 和家長都有一個愉快的暑假假期。

上週日是思源的感恩之夜，有老師、董事、思源同 仁和班代家長一起聚餐，謝謝大家一年辛勞的付 出，因為大家的努力，才能讓思源中文繼續為孩 子們的中文學習盡一份心力，在這次的思源通訊 分享感恩之夜照片，希望下次你也可以參加這個 活動。

思源中文的招生依舊進行中，如果你有認識的朋 友或是鄰居正在找中文學校，請幫忙推薦思源中 文給他們，暑假期間也可以和學校聯繫，我會回 覆他們的問題和完成報名手續，如果你的孩子已 經報名下學年的課程，學校會在八月中寄出上課 通知單和2023-2024行事曆，如果你在八月底沒有 收到學校通知，可以和校長聯繫，謝謝!

Message from the Principal

Dear CCS Parents,

This Friday, 5/26, is the last day of class this year. Each class has different celebrations. I hope all parents can join the classroom party. Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the year. I hope every student and parent will have a happy summer vacation.

Last Sunday was CCS appreciation night. There were teachers, CCS board members, CCS staff and classroom rep. having dinner together. Thank you for your hard work. Because of everyone's efforts, CCS can contribute to the children's Chinese learning. I want to share the photos of the event in this newsletter.

The enrollment of CCS is still in progress. If you have friends or neighbors who are looking for a Chinese school, please help recommend CCS to them. You can also contact the school during the summer vacation. I will answer their questions and complete the registration procedures. If your child has signed up for the next school year, I will send out the notice and 2023-2024 calendars in mid-August. If you do not receive the school notice by the end of August, you can contact the principal. Thank you!

2023年北加州中文學校聯合會 〈中華文化夏令營〉
2023 ANCCS Chinese Culture Summer Camp

日期(When):    June 19 ~ June 23, 2023
地點(Where):    100 S. Milpitas Blvd. Milpitas, CA 95035 金山灣區華僑文教服務中心
招收(Who):    1st to 7th graders in 2023 School Year. 2023年9月將升1-7年級的學童，按年齡分班。
費用(Fees):    Fee includes registration, lunch, snack, T-Shirt, & materials. 所有費用包含報名 費、營養午餐及可口點心、T-Shirt(一件)及所有上 課材料費。
師資(Teachers): Professional instructors from the bay area to teach the Chinese Culture and Folk-Arts. 聘請灣區專業文化老師來教導學生民 俗體育、民俗文化、民俗藝術課程、 中華手工藝 及傳統小吃。(主辦單位會應實際需要來調整課程 內容。)

正體漢字園遊會

由北加州中文學校聯合會主辦，中華民國僑委會 贊助的【正體漢字 園遊會】活動，時間點選擇暑假 ，以好玩的遊戲配上台灣有名小吃 攤位，讓同學 們以放假輕鬆的心情，在享受美食之餘，不知不 覺學 習了漢字之美與漢字六書造字的原理。

活動將在南灣華僑文教中心舉行，包括五個小吃 攤位設有不同的漢 字題目，分別是:象形，指事， 會意，形聲與部首，出題老師們針 對參加同學的程度精心設計有趣的題目，同學們在遊戲中答題 ，不 論答對答錯都可以享用台灣道地小吃(米粉 湯，珍珠奶茶，香腸， 鹽酥鷄，茶葉蛋)，並且聆聽 老師們的解説。歡迎家長們帶小朋友 參加這個免 費，免報名，寓教於樂的活動!

Traditional Chinese Characters Fair

With fun games and snacks, families not only enjoy the delicious food, but also learn the Chinese Characters with the principle of Liushu.

感恩餐會

感謝大家撥冗來參加學期末的感恩餐會，期待明年 和大家一起努力，一起為思源服務。特別感謝美鳳， 幫忙發出邀請函，感謝Emilie幫忙訂場地和訂菜，感 謝Emilie，婉君和玉麗姐提供的抽獎禮物，當然最感 謝的是大家的參與，特別是帶著小朋友一起參加的 同仁和班代們，謝謝大家，先祝福大家暑假愉快，如 果有外出旅行，一切平安順利。謝謝美鳳幫忙照相， 雖然無法集體合照，但是美鳳已經把大家照進去了， 是一個很棒的紀念。
